Nick Southwell

Admitted as a Solicitor in July 2006, during his training Nick gained experience in many aspects of law. Joining the Company as a trainee in July 2004, he now works across the Marine and Commercial teams, advising his own clients as well as assisting the Directors with larger cases. He also acquired considerable experience and expertise during training in the Family department.

Nick gained his Legal Practice Course qualification from the Guildford College of Law and achieved 92% in his final exam as a trainee.

Day to Day
Nick handles many cases, specifically:

• Sales and purchases of businesses
• Advising business clients
• Commercial Property
• Marine and Admiralty Law
• Children’s Act procedures
• Divorce
• Family Law Act injunctions

Outside of the Office
In his spare time he enjoys golf and, when he can find the time, extreme skiing having worked at Val D’Isere in 1999. Recently married, Nick and his wife are also keen sailors
